Q. Do you provide catalogues?
To make selling the goods as easy as possible for you, we provide the option of purchasing a beautifully designed Kisumu catalogue featuring all Kisumu’s jewellery and accessories. This comes in two versions: one which includes our recommended retail prices (RRP) and one which is blank so that you can add in your own price listings.
Q. How many catalogues will I receive?
We will automatically send you 10 copies of the Kisumu catalogue (either version) once you’ve set up your account. There is no charge for these catalogues.
Any subsequent catalogues should be ordered from us through our website. You will be charged for these at the rate advertised on the site, plus VAT and postage costs.
We will send you your catalogue by courier. Please remember that you must offer an address where someone is available to sign for your catalogues – otherwise they’ll be returned to Kisumu’s head office.
Q. What prices I am charged for the stock.
You will receive a discount of 50% of our recommended retail prices, meaning you can make a fantastic margin.
Q. Do I have to buy stock from you before I sell?
You have the option to only purchase the stock from us once your customers have placed their orders, so there is no initial financial commitment.
Q. What is your minimum order?
£60.00 or more of the recommended retail prices of the goods (this is subject to change at our discretion – please check our website for current minimum order values). This excludes the purchase of catalogues and stationery.
Q. Can I buy without an account number?
Setting up an account is free although you will not be able to purchase goods from our website until we have set up a customer account for you. Once we have set up your customer account, we will send you your user name and password.
Q. How do you deliver the goods?
We use a courier service. Somebody must be available at the delivery address to sign for the parcel.
Q. What are your postage charges?
Currently we only deliver to mainland UK.
Postage of any order to mainland UK is £4.95 per order.
Q. What are the delivery times?
For orders received before 2:00pm, delivery is usually within 2 to 5 working days. However, we cannot always guarantee this.
Q. If I am not at home will the driver leave the goods in the back garden etc.
No, the parcel must be signed for. You must provide an address where you can assure full time occupancy.
Q. What happens if I am not here when the goods arrive?
The driver will return the goods back to our warehouse. You may be charged for return postage!
Q How can I pay?
We accept all major credit cards / debit cards.
Q. Do you charge VAT?
Our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Q. What is your returns policy
- Any goods which you believe are defective must be returned to us within 14 days of the date of delivery (there is no need to telephone us) using a completed returns form which can be downloaded and printed from our website. Returns are sent at your own expense and we recommend that you use recorded delivery and keep your proof of postage.
- For hygiene reasons we do not accept returns on worn earrings or body jewellery.
- We do not send out replacements. We will send you a credit note and refund your credit card within 2-3 weeks if we agree that the goods returned are defective through faulty workmanship or materials.
- Please note - imitation jewellery will go off colour, especially metal based jewellery. Time for discolouration will depend on their use and the environment in which they are worn or stored. We are unable to credit you for goods that have discoloured.
- No claims will be allowed for loss, theft or damage to the goods in transit unless notified to carriers and ourselves immediately.
Q. Do you allow copying of the images on your website?
We allow you to use the images of goods from our website for the purpose of reselling the goods on your own website in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Business. We do not allow you to use any images which feature models (i.e. persons.) which is strictly forbidden.
We can withdraw the right to use our images at any time.
Q. Can I sell the items at any price?
We produce a list of recommended retail prices for the goods. Please note, however, that you are entirely free to sell the goods to your customers at any price you choose, be that a higher or lower price than our recommended retail price.
Q. Can I buy goods for my personal use?
No! We insist that you must buy for the purpose of resale. We do not sell for personal use.
Q. Is your jewellery nickel free?
All our products comply with the nickel directive. We in house batch test every line that has metal parts that could come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. In addition we seek third party verification of our testing.
Q. Can you guarantee stock?
Our stock is highly fashionable. We turnover our stock very quickly. Lines will sell out quickly. This is an inevitable part of our business.
Q. Can I order below the minimum order.
We cannot supply goods below our minimum order value.
Q. Do you offer a “Sale or Return” on your products?
No
Q. Does each item come with a display card and barcode?
Yes.
Q. Some of the items from your catalogue are not on the website?
Our website is up to date. If the item does not appear on the website then the product is out of stock.
Q. May I order a few items to see the quality and actual size?
Sorry we do not send out samples.
Q. Do you offer any exclusivity agreements?
No. We freely sell to anyone who wishes to re-sell our product.
